This whole new area was created by connecting the old living room - dining room with the previously separated kitchen. The kitchen opened towards the living room, with the placement of an interior "window" and the dining room became now an extension of the kitchen with the demolition of a part of the wall. Dining room and kitchen make an L-shape which was treated as a whole, with the use of materials and colours.
